Edward Talmor-Gera brings experience from both the LP and GP perspective as he has been dealing with private equity fund placement for several years. Before that he was an Executive Adviser to a family office with $4.5bn assets under management. Earlier he was an Associate with Goldman Sachs’ M&A advisory team in London, working on landmark transactions involving Thomson Reuters, Cadbury and Unilever.
Mr Talmor-Gera is the Private Equity Industry Coach at London Business School where he has been involved since 2007 with the Private Equity Institute and the Private Equity Masterclass teaching. In Israel, he has been teaching about Private Equity at Israel College of Management as well as at the Israel Finance Institute. Mr Gera also established the International PE event for LP’s in Israel which is held several times a year; has been invited to deliver teaching seminars and talks on the asset class to senior management, board members and investment committees of Israel’s leading institutions; and is the author of the Israeli PE Benchmarking Report.
Mr Gera holds an Executive MBA from the London Business School and an undergraduate degree in Mathematics from Tel-Aviv University.
